Snow Days in January

The end of January brought a big snow storm to Tennessee. Everyone was snowed in Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Even Daddy couldn't get to work and work isn't that far away. Sunday there were a few more cars on the streets but since it was a major snow storm and Nashville isn't really equipped for a foot of snow the streets didn't get cleared for many days. Monday school was closed again and then Tuesday too. By Tuesday everyone was ready to get out of the house. Alley and Mommy had daily excursions outside to sit and walk in the snow. It was nice to have mommy home for 6 days straight. Back to school for everyone on Wednesday.

Aunt Jessica needed to do some errands so Cousin Megan and Wyatt came over to play. All took good naps then it was time to go outside and play. It was suppose to snow later but by the time we went outside it was already icy. After cousin Megan fell on the ice and bonked her head it was time for them to head home. No bath time fun with the cousins tonight.

A Trip to Great Gramma and Great Granddad

It was time for another visit to Great Gramma and Granddad. It was a nice day and everyone had a great time. Daddy always enjoys his visits especially when that banana pudding comes out! Thank you Granny.
