Aldon and Alley baptised in Littleton Colorado

Everyone was awake and excited for the Baptism of Aldon and Alley. Uncle Ben and Coach took off early for the 8:00 service. That left 11 of us to get showers and dressed. We made it. Loaded everyone up in the cars and off we went for the 10:30am service. Alley was pretty warm getting her baptismal gown on so by the time she was suppose to enter the church she was hot and crabby. Off came the baptismal gown and on went the little white dress and no socks. So much happier. After Aldon was baptised, Alley was brought forward. Uncle Ben sensed she was getting a little cranky so he started the baptism right away. Whew....he made it, especially with the water. Alley loves water. But then Coach was to put oil on her forward in the sign of the cross.......Alley couldn't hold off. She let Coach know she wasn't happy with that. Mommy took her back and she calmed down as they walked down the aisle. After a little cat nap she was as happy as could be. Posing for pictures was pretty exciting after the Baptism. We all headed home for some lunch and relaxation.

Opening Christmas Presents in Colorado

There was a peaceful moment so all settled in for a time of opening presents. We had a great time. My Uncles are ready for the ski slopes this coming week. The grandchildren will be on their way home to Nashville after a week of fun in the snow. Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Ben and Aunt Lydia get to stay on with Coach and MaMa C for a few days of skiing in Breckenridge. Alley wants to walk so badly......maybe skiis next year?!! Early night night as tomorrow is a big day for Daddy and Alley....Baptism at the Sunday Service.
That's my Daddy. He needs a good cup of coffee every morning.
Then he's ready to play with me!

Uncle Jeremy in his new goggles. He's ready for snowy Breckenridge.

Oh my....that's Coach. He's holding up undies for his trip to the
Holy Lands. They wash at night and dry by morning. Wow..........

Aunt Lydia smiling at Uncle Ben. He's ready for the ski slopes!

Everyone enjoying opening presents.

Christmas Morning

This is what happens to Coach when he watches 3 grandchildren!!

I did it! A Mailbox that plays the ABC's and 123's.
Oops....Cousin Megan says....."MINE"

I like the paper...it makes lots of noise!

I'll try another one...that was fun!

The little ones haven't learned that one gets up with the sun on Christmas to open presents. No one moved until late morning. We opened a few presents than had a late breakfast. Coach headed to the airport to pick up Uncle Ben and Aunt Lydia, Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Tracy. DaDa was coming on a later flight so there was another trip to the airport later Christmas day. Everyone arrived safe but too tired to open presents. We all got a good night rest. Up in the morning for walks in the snow, sledding and then opening presents. We had a great day. Early to bed so we would be up and ready for sledding and walks in the snow.

Christmas Eve

Aren't we cute....Cousin Megan, Alley and Cousin Wyatt.

Wyatt, you're suppose to smile!

Alley checking out her tights. Just like Cousin Megan's.

Put me in front of a camera and I'll give you a smile!

That's not Joseph, that's Coach!

It was a busy day of playing and eating before we left for Christmas Eve services. The back of the church was the best place for 3 little ones. The kids were given hay before entering the church. Megan put it in her hand and played with it. Alley had trouble keeping it out of her mouth and Wyatt... we just didn't even try at 8 weeks old. When they asked the children to bring the hay forward Cousin Megan bounded down the aisle with hay in her hand. Alley was carried by mom and placed it in Baby Jesus' cradle. Back to our seats we went. Coach told a story and then disappeared. All of a sudden he was in the back of the church walking down the aisle dressed like Joseph. Cousin Megan wasn't fooled..... a loud "Coach" was heard by all. Cousin Megan ran down the aisle again and stood by Coach up front. He told the story of baby Jesus being born. That was about the extent of quietness in the church. When we sang a hymn about Mary, Cousin Megan joined in singing, "Mary had a little lamb".......
Back home we went to get ready for Santa.

On the Plane to Colorado for Christmas

Cousin Megan loves to dress up. Me too. Look at my glasses!

Uncle Mark dressed up too!

Cousin Megan was having a little trouble with the glasses!!

Coach was excited when Alley and Becca arrived in Colorado with Mama C. Cousin Megan was going to fly with us but Uncle Mark watched the weather forcast and saw a storm coming into Colorado by Wednesday. With 1200 miles to drive, they decided to leave a day early with Megan and Wyatt to beat the storm. If they got caught in the storm they wanted to have Megan with them for Christmas. So off we went minus one. It was cold when we landed. The mountains were covered with lots of snow. Uncle Mark, Aunt Jessica, Megan and Wyatt arrived around 8pm that night safe and sound. The snow was beginning to fall when they arrived. Wednesday we woke up to 4 inches of snow. Cousin Megan loved the snow this year. Alley put on her snowsuit and sat in the snow tasting it when she could get enough on her mitten. The house was big enough for everyone this year. Even with all the baby furniture and toys! It was awesome to have everyone together in one place. Doesn't happen that often anymore. The extended family continues to grow each year. Mama C and Coach are loving grandparenting. Lots of hugs and kisses for the little ones.

STAR WARS CONCERT

Alley and Daddy getting excited about the Star War Concert tonight!

Look how happy my Daddy is watching the Star Wars Concert!

Dada loves Star Wars. There are so many star war toys my Daddy saved. I can't wait to play with them!! Mommy and Daddy had a date night to the Star War Concert before Christmas. I was put in my Star Wars t-shirt during the day cause Daddy was so excited. Mommy was semi-excited...haha! As it turned out Mommy was very impressed with the concert. Daddy as you will see in the pics had a great time posing with all the characters while Mommy took the pictures. Before the concert was dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. With filled tummy's and a great concert Mommy and Daddy had a fun date night. The best was coming home to a sleeping Alley!

Sunday morning waiting for the Titan Game

A long walk after a disappointing loss for the Titans.

Who said babies need toys....the Sunday paper makes lots of noise!!

All ready for the Titans game. Paddy likes my outfit too!

Just practicing holding my cup so when it's time I'm ready to sip.

Aldon continues to be a loyal fan. Sunday morning Alley woke up early so she helped everyone read the Sunday paper. Then a great breakfast fixed by Becca and Aldon and then time to get ready for the Titan Game. Alley has her Titan outfits so she was ready. We needed all the help we could get for this game.....against the unbeaten Colts. Well, it didn't turn out so well so Mama C and Alley went for a long walk. Love these new stroller blankets. Only Alley's eyes and nose stick out!! Chilly but refreshing walk around the neighborhood.

Bath Time with Cousin Megan

I love playing with toys in the tub now that I can sit up. Cousin Megan likes to dump water over my head. I don't especially like it but I don't cry!!
Cousin Megan helping by throwing away dirty diapers.
