Night Night!

Look at Alley in the Big Bed.
Night Night!

Almost time for Alley's 9 month check up. More shots and time to show off all her new skills. Talking is a little premature but she lets everyone know she has a lot to say during her waking hours. We're sure she will keep the Dr. entertained with all her new babbles. More pictures to update when we get them uploaded.

Alley the Newspaper Girl!

Special Delivery! So proud!

We're taking care of fish and hamsters for the weekend. They are fun to watch moving around. We also have to make sure the newspapers get where they need to be. Look at Alley, the new delivery girl.

It's March Madness!

Vanderbilt warming up for their
first round NCAA game in San Jose, CA.

Everyone is watching Basketball! Even Alley! Uncle Ben scored some tickets to the first round games in San Jose, CA. He went to see his old High School in CA where he and my mom went to school. Uncle Ben sent a picture of Vanderbilt warming up for their game against Murray St. He went all that way and still got to watch home town Vanderbilt play. Vandy lost first round but Uncle Ben said it was a great game.

A Play date with Cousin Annie at Papa Tommy and Granny O's house.

Papa Tommy and Alley!

Cousin Annie and Alley.

Wonder what they are thinking?

Alley and Cousin Annie

Alley went over to see Granny O and Papa Tommy. Cousin Annie was there. She's 1 month older. Annie was crawling and rolling all over. Alley thought that was great but walking was more her style. They had a fun afternoon together.

Snow in Tennessee!

There were many snow days in January and February. Alley loves to be outside and a little cold and snow didn't stop her. The best part was having Mommy home. It was fun playing in the snow and having Mommy to play with during her snow days. Daddy couldn't even get to work one day. That was a lot of SNOW!
That special time with Mommy before bedtime.

Look at me all dressed up with my new shoes!
And Notice...I'm standing by myself!

A fun day at the dentist! Dr. Horne made me SMILE!!

My new shoes! And they fit!

Time to Catch up!

Oh Alley has grown so much! Two bottom teeth popped through. Oh the fussiness, but we got through it. Then four teeth on the top decided it was their turn. After many weeks of good days and bad days the two front teeth popped through. What a relief. But then it was off to the dentist just to have fun and make sure all was well. Along with a fun checkup Alley got her first toothbrush and toothpaste. Thank you Dr. Horne! You're the best Dentist!
Crawling and turning over are happenings around 8 months but Alley likes the upright position! Forget the crawling and turning over.....it's time to walk! Alley's close especially now that she has new shoes that fit. Growing out of shoes has been fun for Alley. One day they fit, a few days later they are too small. Thank goodness for baby shoe experts....a shoe sale brought 2 new pairs with plenty of room to grow!
Sleeping isn't one of Alley's favorite things to do. She wants to be on the move so sleeping is one of those things that just happens when the eyes just can't stay open any longer. A crib is nice but a big bed works much better and no one has to be in it as you will see in the picture. Three naps are typical in a day. Alley loves to get up with mom and sit in the bathroom while she gets ready. Then back to Dad until it's time for work. Then a little catnap after watching "Wiggles" and "Sesame Street." Breakfast time and a little play time until another hour nap to get energized for a morning walk with MaC. We go a long way in the stroller. Sometimes sleeping but most of the time looking at all the trees and birds that are chirping. We're all ready for springtime. Back for some lunch and a nap. And then another walk, waiting for mom to come home to play outside until dinner. Sitting in the grass and touching everything around is a favorite right now. Of course not too long because Alley needs to be on those feet. Dinner is always fun especially if Daddy is home. Then it's off to the bath tub for lots of splashing and playing with bath toys. Always time for reading and then Night Night!!
